Your Legal Partners advised JTI, in collaboration with local firm Georgiades & Pelides LLC, on an investigation conducted by the Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC) of the Republic of Cyprus, acting after a complaint was lodged by the Association of Permanent Service Shops (SYKADE) in relation to alleged infringements of competition rules by local tobacco companies. We also advised on the proposed commitments to be adopted by the client, which were accepted by the CPC.
