Your Legal Partners is representing Deutsche Bank and Alantra as arrangers on the disposal by Alpha Bank of a mixed portfolio of non-performing loans of up to EUR 12 billion (Galaxy Portfolio) via securitisation with the use of a recent law allowing for a Greek government guarantee over the senior tranche up to EUR 3.7 billion. DVLaw is acting as co-counsel for the arrangers. The portfolio comprises different asset classes including mortgages primarily on residential assets, SME and connected unsecured exposures, retail unsecured loans and wholesale loans.
