YLP in the legal team advising Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund in the privatisation of Alexandroupolis and Igoumenitsa ports

Following a tender process, Your Legal Partners has been appointed – together with AKL Law Firm and DVLaw – as legal advisers to the government’s Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) in relation to the privatisation of the Greek regional ports of Alexandroupolis and Igoumenitsa.

The privatisation is going to take place through the selling of majority stakes in the share capital of the relevant State-run Port Operating companies along with the revision of the respective concession agreements between the Port operating Companies and the Hellenic Republic and the conclusion of a shareholders’ agreement with the investor aiming to make the corporate governance of the Port Operating Companies compatible with the private sector. The privatisation of these ports has been given priority by the HRADF given the ports’ significant potential for development.
