George joined Your Legal Partners as an of counsel in 2021.
He is an expert in real estate law, urban planning law and public contracts law, having worked as a lawyer at the Hellenic Cadastre during the period 2005 – 2018. He is a legal advisor to the Notary Association of the Courts of Appeal of Athens, Piraeus, Aegean and Dodecanese since 2019. He has profound knowledge of property law and vast experience in the real estate practice advising clients on property transactions, creating in rem securities and in the due diligence of real estate portfolios. He also advises clients on property law and urban planning law disputes.
He is the author of the book “Hellenic Cadastre, Keeping, operating and updating the National Cadastre in practice”, 2nd Edition 2021, published by Nomiki Bibliothiki. He has participated as a co-author of the chapter “Forest Maps and rights in rem”, in the collective volume “Forest Maps – Legal Framework and Practical implementation”, 2022, published by Nomiki Bibliothiki. He has also participated as a co-author of the chapter “Electronic Building Identity/arbitrary legalization/ arrangement”, in the collective volume “Notary and real estate”, 2021, published by Sakkoulas Publications.
George is a CEDR Accredited Mediator since 2011 and also accredited by the Greek Ministry of Justice since 2013.
